, which is on the southeast corner of Highway 70 and Old Hickory Boulevard in the Bellevue Kroger shopping center (7069 US 70 South, Nashville, TN 37221). Because of time restraints on the rental of this auditorium, we will begin services promptly at 6:30 PM and will conclude by 7:30 PM every Tuesday evening.
The Word of the Lord to this ministry from its inception has been that we would be a powerful influence to those who influence the music business. Through the years, we’ve had many artists and friends who have expressed interest in coming to The River but they travel on weekends. A Tuesday night format is more convenient to a lot of them. Tuesday nights also enable us to have weekly gatherings with The River Family while Rambo McGuire is still able to keep up with our own busy travel schedule on Sundays.
We will be having an hour-long, power packed, casual service with music and practical teachings to help us live lives that demonstrate the unconditional love of God and the finished work of the Cross. The message and music has always been a gathering of "whosoever will"; the meetings will continue with that heart.
Another tremendous aspect of this transition is that we will have a state-of-the-art facility to capture high quality video/audio recordings of our services. Within the next few weeks, we are believing for cameras and other equipment so we can launch a YouTube channel and begin sharing these messages over the internet with the world. This is exciting news for the many members of this church who are located across the Globe!
It is difficult to imagine that we won’t be having services in our current location much longer, but we are reminded by Bishop Huskins' words that The River has never been a building… It’s a message that we’ve faithfully poured into the city of Nashville for almost 13 years now and we’re getting ready to extend our reach and share it with the world.
We would love to encourage those of you who are members and friends of The River to come celebrate this transition. Our final service at our present location will be Sunday, December 29, at 10:30 AM. For those of you who can't join us, we look forward to seeing you at our new location starting on January 7.
As you can imagine, with every move and transition has come additional expenses. We continue to be amazed at the faithfulness of God and His people toward this ministry. We thank you for the way you have stood with us and supported us with your prayers, love and finances. We know that God will continue to bless you because of your gracious giving to Him in underwriting His ministry in the earth!
We love you and there ain't nothin' you can do about it!
